When you connect WhatsApp to Vchat by StudioVainilla, the profile picture is not set from Vchat.

This is important to make very clear from the beginning:

🔒 The profile picture users see on WhatsApp depends exclusively on the associated WhatsApp Business account, since Vchat connects via the WhatsApp Business Platform (official API).

Vchat only reflects the information that WhatsApp already has registered.

Why can't Vchat change the profile picture?

Vchat uses the WhatsApp Business Platform, which has strict security rules:

• ❌ The profile picture cannot be modified via API
• ❌ It cannot be forced from external integrations
• ✅ WhatsApp takes the image directly from the business profile

This is an official limitation from Meta (WhatsApp), not Vchat.

Tutorial to change the profile picture

You must do it from Meta Business Manager.

Step 1. Go to Meta Business Manager

Access:

👉 business.facebook.com

Go to the business asset (Facebook page and/or Instagram) linked to the WhatsApp phone number.

Step 2. Go to your WhatsApp account

Typical route:

• Settings
• Accounts
• WhatsApp accounts
• Select your account
• Click on “Phone numbers”

Step 3. Edit the profile

• Go to Profile
• Change the business image in “Profile photo”
• Save changes
